Apple will release a tablet and Bluetooth beacon at a presentation in March. This was reported by the network insider and blogger Jon Prosser in his Twitter.
Prosser stated that AirTag Bluetooth beacons will be announced at the March event. The blogger noted that he has not heard about any delays and stressed that preparations for the presentation are going according to plan. The author also declassified another device that will be released soon – the iPad Pro tablet of new generation.
In comments to the publication Prosser said that he expects a few devices from the March Apple presentation, but did not disclose the exact name of the planned gadgets. He also said that he is still confident that Apple smartphones prepared for the fall will come out with Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
Meanwhile, Apple has not yet announced the March event. Usually, the company warns journalists and bloggers about the presentation of certain products a few days before the event. There is speculation that the American company has planned at least one major spring release – the announcement of the iPhone SE Plus.
Recall that on October 12 – a day before the presentation of the smartphone series iPhone 12 – John Prosser said that Apple has postponed the release of the AirTag Bluetooth beacon until March 2021. According to early leaks, the AirTag UWB tags are designed to track small items. Rumors about the development of this accessory emerged back in October 2019, when Apple bought the rights to the AIRTAG trademark from Russian company ISBC.
