International coalition helicopter makes emergency landing in Syria

The emergency landing was made in northern Syria by a helicopter of the international anti-terrorist coalition, which is operating under the leadership of the United States in Syrian and Iraqi territory. On September 15, Colonel Wayne Marotto, an official representative of Operation Unwavering Determination, announced this on his Twitter page.

“The coalition helicopter made an emergency landing at approximately 9:30 am on September 15th in northern Syria,” he wrote in his post.

Also, Marotto stressed that the landing was not made as a result of any hostile actions towards the rotorcraft and therefore it landed safely.

In addition, the official spokesman clarified that the emergency personnel responded promptly to the incident, the crew was found and there were no casualties during the emergency landing.

As reported by IA REGNUM, earlier reports that an American military helicopter crashed in northeastern Syria were denied by the international anti-terrorist coalition.
