Interpol reported attempts to sell counterfeit and steal Covid-19 vaccines

“Interpol has already sent out warnings to law enforcement agencies in 194 countries.

Interpol has issued a global warning about possible attempts by criminal organizations to sell counterfeit coronavirus and influenza vaccines, as well as attempts to steal the real vaccine.

“Now that more coronavirus vaccines are approaching the stage of approval and global spread, the main task is to ensure the security of the supply chain … At a time when governments are preparing for vaccination campaigns, criminal organizations are preparing to intervene or disrupt supplies,” Interpol said.

Therefore, law enforcement officials around the world are urged to prepare in advance for possible criminal activities related to coronavirus vaccine.

Interpol suggests that with the gradual recovery of active travel – which is likely to be accompanied by a demand for a negative coronavirus test – criminals may also try to sell fake tests.
