Apple plans to release a cheaper version of the smartphone, which will be equipped with an IPS screen and will receive 4G support in 2021, according to Astera.
According to preliminary data, this model will be called the iPhone 12e and will be available in versions with a screen of 5.4 and 6.1 inches. The basis of such a device will be an Apple A14 processor, supplemented by 4 GB of RAM. Another model will have a Face ID system and a dual main camera.
The cost of such devices will be 549 and 649 dollars, depending on the diagonal of the display.
The source clarifies that such smartphones may appear in March next year.
