Iran says that the US failed to cut oil exports from the country

Iran’s first vice president, Eskhak Jahangiri, said the United States failed to completely block Iranian oil exports, despite numerous sanctions.

“Oil, which was the main source of revenue for Iran, was subjected to severe sanctions. The US said that Iranian oil exports should be reduced to zero, but, fortunately, this did not happen,” Jahangiri said.

The United States broke unilateral agreements with Iran in the fall of 2018 and abandoned all its obligations under the “nuclear deal”, after which they began to restore and tighten unilateral sanctions against Iran.
