Armed protests are planned in all U.S. states from this week until the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden. This was revealed to ABC News journalist Aaron Katersky, who refers to an internal FBI document on his Twitter.
Specifically, the bureau of investigation received information about a certain armed group that was going to head to Washington on January 16. Its members warned that a “major uprising” would occur if Congress removed President Donald Trump using the 25th Amendment.
In addition, the group is calling for a “storming” of courthouses and state, local, and federal government administration buildings if Donald Trump is ousted. According to reports received, protests are planned in all 50 U.S. state capitols from January 16 to 20, as well as outside the Capitol in Washington, D.C. from January 17 to 20.
On January 6, Donald Trump supporters protesters stormed the Capitol building and surrounded the Senate chamber. The Senate and House of Representatives adjourned. The Capitol building in Washington was later cleared of protesters. As a result, five people were killed.
The next day, the U.S. Congress approved the election of Joe Biden to the presidency amid the riots.
