Today, Brad Binder was able to qualify in the best way in MotoGP in Japan. This is Binder’s first start in MotoGP after joining the category in 2020. It has never been my thing and it will be great to start tomorrow without any other riders. On my first run, I felt great. I had my fastest lap on the second and was more or less circulating on the third. Prior to qualifying, I knew what I needed to improve on, to be faster. I also needed more confidence with the front. That’s what I discovered in qualifying. It will be amazing to start tomorrow from the front row’.
Today, Brad Binder was able to achieve his best MotoGP qualifying in Japan. This is Binder’s first start from the front row since joining the category in 2020. He admitted that it is still strange to see.

He also stressed the’strangeness’ of a race that starts when you don’t see anyone ahead.
It will be weird to not have anyone in front of me, or at least between me & the last one. It’s going to be great for us. And it’s easier to relax knowing that you don’t need to do anything to take over riders at an early age. I want to get started, sail into the race and find out how it goes. Although I only have one session on the MotoGP bike in dry conditions, the first few runs were tough but I was able to finish the lap in a respectable time. Tomorrow’s Warm Up should provide us with the indicators needed for the race. Then we’ll push it and see what happens.
Brad Binder expressed total confidence in the team regarding race selections, particularly the tyres: “I think that I’ll leave it to my team because i haven’t done enough laps so I don’t know what we need. Although there were no complaints about the bike, it felt great. I do hope Warm Up will give us some indicators.
