Japan was shaken by an earthquake

On Sunday, November 22, the earthquake with magnitude 5.8 has been registered to the east from the main Japanese island Honshu.

It was reported by the National Meteorological Office of the country.

The threat of tsunami was not announced. Epicenter of underground shocks was located near the coast of Ibaraki prefecture, which is not far from Tokyo.

It is specified that the hearth was located at a depth of about 40 kilometers. Residents of Tokyo, Tiba, Fukushima, Saitama, Iwate and Miyagi prefectures felt strong tremors. No information about victims or destructions was received.
