Kasabian frontman accused of violence and he left the group

Kasabian rock band frontman Tom Meighan pleaded guilty to assaulting his ex-fiancé and left the band.

The day before pleading guilty, Meigan announced that he was leaving the collective due to “personal problems.” Then the 39-year-old musician issued a statement that he had actually attacked his ex-fiancée, Vicki Ager. He also admitted this to the Leicester Magistrate’s Court.

As a result, he was sentenced to 200 hours of correctional labor. Also during the hearings, it became known that Meigan used alcohol when he beat his ex-girlfriend. Ager was hit so hard that she flew across the room and suffered a head injury. Then the musician hit her several times, including on the head, and then threatens to beat her with a wooden pallet. The child witnessed the attack and contacted the police.

Meigan initially denied his guilt, but after watching videos from surveillance cameras in the house, he accepted responsibility.
