Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid thanked Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin for setting a date for the swearing-in of the government.
He made a statement to that effect on the afternoon of June 8.
According to Lapid, MP Karin Elharar will assemble an organizing committee to work out the regulations.
“It’s done! A unity government will work for the benefit of the citizens of Israel,” Lapid said.
On the morning of June 8, Yariv Levin announced that the new government will be sworn in on June 13. On the same day there will be a vote for a candidate for speaker of the 24th Knesset.
