Laptop stolen from Pelosi's office during Capitol riot

During the riots at the Capitol, a laptop was stolen from the office of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Her aide Drew Hammill wrote this on Twitter.

“The laptop was stolen from the conference room. It was a laptop that was only used for presentations,” Hammill reported.

Recall, on January 6, supporters of incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol. Material damage was done to the building. In addition, because of the riots for several hours was delayed approval in the U.S. Congress of Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election.

Democratic Party leaders called for Trump’s impeachment or removal under the constitutional amendment on the incapacity of the president. However, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence opposed its use.
