Larry King's Widow Named Cause of Death of Showman

The widow of TV host Larry King told Entertainment Tonight that the cause of the showman’s death was not a coronavirus.

According to Sean King, her husband died of sepsis.

“When we heard the word COVID, we got cold feet. But he overcame it. Still, the disease had its effect, and an unrelated infection took him out,” Sean King said.

Larry King battled lung cancer for a long time and suffered a heart attack. Earlier this year, the 87-year-old showman was hospitalized with a coronavirus infection.

The “Larry King Live” talk show made it into the Guinness Book of World Records: it aired for 25 years with the same host, at the same time, on CNN. Larry King was interviewed by about 60,000 people. Among them are Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. presidents starting with Richard Nixon, Margaret Thatcher, Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney, Mike Tyson and many others.
