The Grammy-winning, multi-award-winning duo Daft Punk officially broke up after 28 years of success.
The French duo wrote such hits as “Get Lucky,” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and many others. The electronic music pioneers announced their breakup in an eight-minute video titled “Epilogue.” Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, who had always appeared in public only wearing helmets, decided to end their project.
The musicians met in a school in Paris in 1987. Before Daft Punk, they formed an indie rock band called Darling. They formed Daft Punk in 1993, releasing their first hit album “Homework” in 1997.
