In London there was a demonstration of thousands of citizens against the quarantine and isolation. Tens of thousands of demonstrators marched through the central streets of the British capital with placards calling for freedom and the abolition of all restrictions.
In addition, the demonstrators demanded the arrest of Matt Hancock, the British health minister who was caught cheating with an aide in the ministry building right at the height of the pandemic. At the time, the minister forbade Britons to break social distance and imposed strict restrictions, which he himself violated.
The marchers threw hundreds of tennis balls with swear words on them, chanted “Shame on you!” and whistled at the government building.
Recall that Minister Hancock’s declassified adultery led to the opposition demanding his resignation. The head of government said there was no reason for this, but Matt Hancock later personally announced that he was leaving office.
