Los Angeles will close all beaches by July 4

Since California remains one of the leaders in the number of new patients with coronavirus, the authorities of the City of Angels decided to avoid mass crowds on Independence Day and closed all the beaches on the eve of the holiday.

Los Angeles closes the coast for a holiday weekend, as the number of new cases of coronavirus increases dramatically day by day. The beaches will be closed to all recreational activities from July 3 to 6 to prevent crowding of people who can spread the coronavirus. Authorities also prohibit launching fireworks on holiday weekends.

“It was an incredibly difficult decision, but to protect the public health of all people from the deadly virus, such a decision is necessary,” said Barbara Ferrer, director of health.
