The soon-to-be-ending Lycoris Recoil anime has launched an exclusive page on the official site to commemorate the protagonist of the show Chisato Nishikigi’s birthday along with the fans. Chisato’s birthday falls on September 23. The finale episode is set to air a day later, on the 24th of September.
The page features an item that is set in between Chisato Nishikigi (left) and Takina Inoue (right). Fans can share their congratulatory messages on the page while the overall size of the item will increase based on the amount of tweets. A special image is provided to those who tweet messages. Additionally, a special voice message will be made available when the box is able to be larger than a specified size.
The original story writer Asaura quote-tweeted the post, implying that the achievement will likely be made soon: “Well, I guess [at this pace] it won’t last until the night.”Studio A-1 Pictures is producing the original anime Lycoris Recoil whose story was written by Asaura, known for his battles-over-bento-boxes light novel Ben-To, and whose characters were designed by Imigimuru, the author of This Art Club Has a Problem manga. Shingo Adachi, well-known as the main animator in The Sword Art Online series, directs the series.
