Mass protests: inhabitants of almost hundreds of French cities took to the streets

Dozens of detainees, tear gas and burning cars. Clashes between belligerents and police continued in Paris.

Residents of almost a hundred French cities took to the streets. They are protesting against the draft law on “global security”. The document prohibits posting photos with police officers on the Internet while they are on duty. A fine of 45 thousand euros or a year in prison is threatened for violation.

In addition, the protesters did not like the articles that provide for enhanced video surveillance and drone patrolling of the streets.
