Meghan Markle and Prince Harry offer Queen Elizabeth a new deal

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to stay on as president and vice-president of the Royal Commonwealth Foundation.

Prince Harry and Meghan are seeking an extension to their 12-month deal, which is known as Megxit. This could allow them to continue patronising charities but still be considered non-working members of the royal family. The existing contract with Buckingham Palace expires on 31 March.

An important issue in the negotiations remains the return of Prince Harry’s military titles. He was stripped of them because of Meghan Markle and the move to the United States. The royal family had previously raised the issue of replacing them as president and vice-president of the Royal Commonwealth Foundation.

Also, the palace will look into all the couple’s contracts and deals with Netflix and Spotify to make sure they are in line with Her Majesty’s values and only then will they possibly be given concessions.

There have been media reports that Netflix executives are allegedly pressuring the Dukes to give up one of the royal family’s secrets.

So Queen Elizabeth II fears Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may “blab” because of the multi-million dollar royalties.
