Named places with increased risk of COVID-19 infection

French scientists have found out what places they visited and where they were infected with coronavirus in the course of interviewing COVID-19 patients. The results are published on the website of Pasteur Institute, RIA Novosti reports.

The experts found that the greatest danger to be infected with coronavirus are places such as bars, restaurants and gyms. Also, drivers, doctors and industrial workers have an increased risk of contracting coronavirus.

In addition, more than 40 percent of respondents suspect who infected them, and 21 percent are sure they know how they got infected. The survey showed that only 54 percent of those who got sick stayed home immediately at the onset of the first symptoms.

Earlier, MSU professor Alexei Agranovsky, a doctor of biological sciences, said that subways and gyms are the most dangerous in conditions of a coronavirus pandemic. According to him, the danger of infection is highest in closed rooms with improper air conditioning. At the same time, there is almost no danger outdoors. The specialist explained that the virus spreads in the form of an aerosol.
