NASA announces that it will make a statement about a new discovery on the Moon the next day

The space agency plans to share the results of its mission, the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). It is the world’s largest aerial observatory, and a huge telescope on a Boeing-747 plane makes observations high in the atmosphere, providing a clear image of objects in the solar system.

“While flying over 99% of the water vapor that obscures the atmosphere, SOFIA monitors in the infrared wavelength range and can detect phenomena that cannot be seen in visible light,” the agency said in a statement. The mission appears to have received unusual data that the agency will release in the next few hours.
