NASA postponed the departure of the Perseverance rover to Mars for another three days due to a defect in the equipment of ground-based systems

This was reported by the press service of the mission of the department.

“NASA and ULA have now set their sights on July 20 to launch, as part of the Mars 2020 mission, the Perseverance rover on the Atlas V rocket from the cosmodrome in Florida,” it was informed.

The department also notes that additional time is required in order to solve the problems encountered with the equipment of the ground system.

It is clarified that the launch on the new named date is planned at 16:15 Kiev time. At the same time, the launch window should be open for two hours.
