Alexei Navalny was brought to the airport in Berlin in a black government Audi with flashers.
It is specified that the blogger was also accompanied by a second government car along with a police crew. Navalny has already boarded the plane, which is due to arrive in Moscow around 19:30.
On January 13, it became known that in late December, the Federal Penitentiary Service put Navalny on the wanted list, because he evaded the control of the penal and correctional inspection. Thus, the agency referred to the medical journal The Lancet, which said that Navalny was discharged from the Berlin clinic Charite on September 20, and by October 12 “he was free of all the effects of his illness”. Thus, he has to appear at the Moscow branch of the agency in accordance with the court verdict. In case of confirmation of the fact of evasion from the control of the criminal-executive inspection, the FSIN has the right to demand from the court to replace the suspended sentence with a real one for “systematic violation of the law.
The oppositionist was transported to Berlin on August 22. Two days earlier, on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow, he had felt unwell, and the plane was grounded in Omsk. The patient was then taken to the German Charite clinic, where local doctors announced that a Novichok substance had been detected in Navalny’s system. At the same time Russian doctors, who also conducted tests, found no poisons.
