Neolithic settlement accidentally found at the bottom of the Adriatic Sea

Archaeologist from Croatia Mate Parika has accidentally made a historical discovery, having discovered an ancient settlement at the bottom of the Adriatic Sea.

The scientist was looking at satellite images of the coast and noticed something unusual. Parika and his colleague decided to dive to check what was at the bottom. During the expedition, they discovered a Neolithic settlement.

Mate Parica and his colleague found the remains of stone walls, as well as various items used by the ancient inhabitants of the place.

It is noted that the settlement was located on a small island. Thanks to a good location, the remains of the settlement have survived to this day.
