New York governor accused of sexual harassment

A former development aide accuses New York Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment.

Lindsay Boylan worked in Cuomo’s administration from March 2015 to October 2018, serving first as executive vice president of Empire State Development and then as Cuomo’s special economic development adviser. She is now running for Manhattan borough president.

Boylan accused the governor of sexual harassment in a series of tweets on Sunday, December 13, 2020, in which she admitted that Cuomo made inappropriate comments about her appearance. According to her. the Democratic governor “sexually harassed her for years and many people saw it”.

“I could never predict what to expect: whether I would be yelled at about my job or say something inappropriate about my appearance. Or would both topics be in the same conversation? It’s been that way for years,” she wrote.

Boylan’s accusation of sexual harassment against Cuomo came after the Associated Press reported that the 63-year-old governor was being considered for the position of attorney general in President-elect Joe Biden’s administration.
