New York State residents will receive federal hurricane relief

Federal aid will be provided to New York State residents affected by Hurricane Ida, the White House press office said Sept. 6

The corresponding order was signed by the American president Joe Biden. The help will include the decision of a housing question of victims, in some cases people will help to make repairs, will give low-interest loans to cover damage if the property was not insured.

Recall, “Ida” August 27 qualified as a hurricane of the first category, and two days later it became a hurricane of the fourth category. A state of emergency was declared in several states.

To date, the number of deaths due to the hurricane has reached 63 in the United States. Most of the deaths from the floods were recorded in New Jersey. Also a lot of victims in the states of New York and Louisiana.
