The National Hockey League (NHL) issued a statement regarding the mass protests in many cities in the United States, as well as in Canada. Numerous appearances related to the death in the United States of African American George Floyd.
“Since the protests in the US and Canada in recent days have attracted attention to the problems of racial equality and justice for the black community, the NHL is in solidarity with everyone who fights to achieve a racially fair society, and against all those who support racism, hatred, fanaticism and violence, ”the League said on Twitter.
