North Carolina resident who hit the $ 20 million jackpot charged with murder

A North Carolina man who won the $ 10 million lotteries in 2017 was charged with the murder of a woman who was found dead in a hotel room.

52-year-old Michael Todd Hill from Leland was arrested Tuesday after the body of 23-year-old Keonna Graham was found the day before. Hill made his fortune three years ago by winning the Ultimate Millions lottery jackpot when he checked into the hotel alone on Sunday. None of the staff saw Graham in his room, but the maid found her body.

Graham worked as a guard at a prison in Boerhaave, North Carolina, and before that at a local rehab center for people with mental disorders. Details of the murder are being established.
