One person killed and eight injured in shooting in Washington

One person was killed and eight others were injured in the shooting in Washington. This was reported by the NBC4 Washington television channel, citing a spokesman for the District of Columbia Police.

The shooting took place at about 17:00 hours (01:00 Moscow time) at the intersection of 14th Street and Spring Road. At the same time, rescuers told the TV channel that nine people were injured as a result of the shooting.

The DC Police Department’s Twitter page contains descriptions of suspected gunmen. The statement notes that one of the suspects was wearing a black sweatshirt and the other in a gray one. They were last seen in a dark blue or black car with tinted windows.

On July 12, an unidentified man in McAllen, Texas, USA, shot and killed two police officers when they came to a call. After that, other police officers arrived at the scene and demanded from the shooter to drop his weapon, but he committed suicide.
