Rear Admiral: The U.S. should leave the Persian Gulf region

Interregional forces are seeking to disrupt the security of the region. Rear Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri, commander of the IRGC Navy, stated this.

“Today we have full control of the entire Persian Gulf,” he noted, adding that “we have full control in terms of manpower in the region, in addition to intelligence monitoring through radar, electronic and electro-optical systems.”

The United States should leave the Gulf region, he said. “The Persian Gulf belongs to Iran and the countries south of the Persian Gulf.”
