Producers of James Cameron’s Avatar project have announced that sequel shooting will resume next week in New Zealand.
While Hollywood production is still closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, New Zealand will probably start shooting movies again. “Our avatar kits are ready – and we look forward to returning to New Zealand next week,” said producer John Landau.
“Avatar 2 will be the first major film to resume production from closing. It will also be Cameron’s first project in several years.
The second part of the film should be released on December 17, 2021. Cameron is going to shoot four sequels at once.
