The U.S. will face problems if Washington creates difficulties for Iranian tankers, including those going to Venezuela. This was stated by President of Iran Hassan Rukhani during a telephone conversation with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on May 23.
“If our tankers, both in the Caribbean Sea and anywhere else in the world, the Americans will face some difficulties, then they (USA), in turn, will have to face problems,” the official site of the Iranian President quotes Rukhani.
At the same time, he specified that a number of U.S. actions create an “unacceptable situation” in different parts of the world and pointed out that Iran will not go for aggravation of the situation or confrontation.
Earlier, the U.S. media reported that the U.S. administration is considering new anti-Iranian sanctions in order to block Iran’s oil exports to Venezuela.
