Russia helped Venezuela resume oil trade bypassing US sanctions

Russia helped Venezuela bypass US sanctions and restore direct oil supplies to China.

It is noted that the tanker Kyoto, chartered by Wanneng Munay, transported Venezuelan oil and unloaded in the Chinese terminal Dalian in early November. This was reported by Reuters.

In this case, most of the way the tanker went with the transponder off.

Wanneng Munay is one of the dozens of companies registered in Russia, which in the past few months began to cooperate with the Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA.

Chinese oil state companies have stopped taking cargo in Venezuelan ports since 2019 after the expansion of U.S. sanctions. Washington has threatened with problems all those who will trade with PDVSA.
