Russian troops hit militants in Idlib with rockets

Russian troops hit militant positions in the Syrian province of Idlib with ballistic missiles. Al-Masdar News reports about this with reference to a source in the Syrian government army.

The source claims that the Russian army used sea-based Iskander missiles to destroy militant targets west of the city of Idlib, the capital of the province of the same name. Before the blow was struck, reconnaissance aircraft were spotted over the area.

The same publication reports that shortly before the missile strike, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a series of attacks on terrorists in the south of the province: in the city of Al-Bara and its environs. The attack followed as intelligence detected the movement of militants in the area.

On November 12, it was reported that unknown persons detonated an explosive device on the way of a convoy of Russian military police in Syria. The equipment suffered as a result.
