Scientists at Lancaster University have come to the conclusion that one of the causes of breast tumors – one of the most common types of cancer – is bacteria that cause inflammation.
Specialists also advise women to consume natural yogurt daily as an easy way to prevent it. This was reported in a press release on MedicalXpress, reports Tape.
Yogurt contains beneficial lactose-fermenting bacteria, commonly found in milk, similar to bacteria or microflora, found in the mammary glands of women during breastfeeding or for a certain period after breastfeeding.
Bacteria are believed to be protective since breastfeeding reduces the risk of disease by 4.3 percent.
A number of studies have shown that drinking yogurt is associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer. This may be due to the fact that harmful microorganisms are replaced by beneficial bacteria. Pathogenic microflora secretes toxins that lead to chronic inflammation and the development of malignant diseases.
