Seven symptoms of coronavirus that require special attention have been identified

Scientists from King’s College London have identified seven symptoms of coronavirus, which require special attention.

The experts said that in addition to the three “classic” symptoms of the virus, such as fever, cough, loss of taste and smell, there are several other signs of the disease. They advised paying special attention to headaches, weakness, loss of appetite, muscle pain, diarrhea, confusion and skin rashes. At the same time, the experts noted that in every fifth patient, doctors have not recorded “classical” signs of the disease. They stressed that if any of these symptoms appear, you should self-isolate and get tested as soon as possible.

Earlier, doctors in the U.S. discovered a new rare but dangerous symptom of the coronavirus that was observed in several patients with COVID-19 in New York. As the BGR portal notes, in two months, physicians in New York recorded three cases in which patients infected with the coronavirus had such a symptom as keratitis – inflammation of the cornea. The infection subsequently spread to the inner membranes of the eyeball in all three, causing endophthalmitis.
