Sony unveiled its new flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 II in February and it’s been three months since then. Now the model has finally appeared in pre-order in Europe and the United States.
Advance orders for the Sony Xperia 1 II are accepted in the U.S. B&H network, and in Europe it appeared at the Dutch retailer Belsimpel.
The European price is €1199 per version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in flash memory. In the U.S., the same version will cost 1198 dollars.
The exact terms of production for the USA and Europe have not yet been announced by the manufacturer. Only the Japanese operator has announced the beginning of sales of the flagship from May 22. In Japan, the price is about $ 1243. Earlier it was reported that it will appear in Europe by the end of May, but now we can rather hope for release in June.
In the Russian official online store Sony at the moment, you can only leave your e-mail address to receive an alert. The price is not listed.
The smartphone received a 6.5 inch 4K HDR OLED display CinemaWide with 21:9 aspect ratio, the flagship single crystal system Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 4000 mAh battery and frontal stereo speakers. Sony installed three 12-megapixel cameras with ZEISS optics in the main camera. The main module uses a Sony IMX557 image sensor format 1/1.7 inch in the optical image stabilization system, in the ultra-wide-angle module – Sony IMX363, in telephoto – Samsung ISOCELL S5K3T2. The front camera received an 8-megapixel sensor Samsung S5K4H7.
