SpaceX launched a rocket with a reconnaissance satellite

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket with the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office (NROL-108) spacecraft. The broadcast was on YouTube.

The Falcon 9 rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Some time after takeoff the first stage of the rocket returned to Earth.

In November, the Falcon 9 company SpaceX during the last launch, held on November 24, set two records. SpaceNews notes that the launch was the hundredth launch for Falcon 9 carriers, including the failed launch in June 2015, but not the rocket explosion in September 2016. In addition, during its launch, SpaceX managed to use the same first stage for the seventh time to remove the payload.
