Sydney plans to build the world’s tallest wooden skyscraper
This writes CNN.
The building will be built for the Australian company Atlassian, which is engaged in the production of software. It will be located in the technical area of Sydney Central Station and can be completed by 2025 as part of the planned reconstruction of the area, which can provide work space for about 25,000 employees.
The 40-story skyscraper, the facade of which will be made of steel and glass and decorated with gardens, will have natural ventilation. Its hybrid design will allow 50% less carbon and 50% less energy than an ordinary building. The skyscraper also plans to equip with solar panels.
