The Model 3 is Tesla’s best-selling car in the United States, but owners so far have largely relied on third-party solutions to equip it with both wireless chargers and USB-C ports.
Tesla cars offer a list of mile-long gadgets, some of which are not found on other cars. Moreover, it was surprising that at the time when other automakers were introducing wireless charging, Tesla cars were left without this technology. The company ultimately decided to equip the popular cordless charging function model with USB-C ports.
New Model 3s in the US are now released with these updates. Two USB-C ports are located directly below the rear air vents, and the charger for the Qi cordless phone is located under the dashboard.
