Tesla has withdrawn a lawsuit against the authorities of Alamida County in the U.S. state of California, which was filed because of their ban on resuming the plant in Fremont. This was reported by TASS with reference to the court materials.

The plaintiffs did not specify the reason for withdrawal of the complaint.

May 11, the head of Tesla Ilon Mask said that the company resumes operations at the plant in Fremont, contrary to instructions of the county authorities not to restore production against the restrictions imposed by the pandemic COVID-19. Musk criticized Alamida authorities for not allowing the plant to resume operations, while production in some parts of the state was allowed to resume operations as early as May 8. After the application, the head of Tesla sued the Alamida authorities.

U.S. President Donald Trump supported Mask in his unauthorized resumption of the plant.
