The incident took place in the city of Jeddah. The attacker reportedly detonated a grenade in a non-Muslim cemetery. It is known that at least two people were slightly injured, including a Greek diplomat. The authorities called the incident a “cowardly attack” and are considering the version of the terrorist attack as a priority, now an investigation is underway.
On October 29, it was reported that Saudi police detained a man in Jeddah who tried to attack the French consulate, wounding a guard. He was stabbed, after which he was hospitalized.
