The explosion of a fuel truck in China – four dead, fifty injured

On June 13, a fuel truck explosion occurred in China on G15 Shenyang-Haikou Highway, which killed at least four people and injured about fifty.

According to AFP, citing state-owned media in China, the accident occurred near the city of Wenlin in the eastern province of Zhejiang.

What exactly was transported in the tanker is not yet known, but the explosion was of such a force that led to the collapse of nearby buildings, and the fire destroyed several cars.

According to eyewitnesses, the tank itself as a result of the explosion flew several hundred meters above three- and four-story buildings. Firefighters, rescuers, doctors and law enforcement officers arrived at the scene.
