The French government, according to the court decision, must lift the ban on religious meetings within 8 days

This was reported in a piece by the French media company France24.

On Monday, the highest administrative court in France ruled that the Government should lift the general ban on assemblies in places of worship imposed by measures against the coronavirus.

Complaints were filed by several individuals and associations, in response to which the court ruled that the ban on religious freedom was “detrimental, which is serious and clearly illegal”.

The court ordered the government to lift the ban within the next eight days.
