The judge nevertheless imposed a temporary ban on the publication of the scandalous book of the president’s niece, psychoanalyst Mary Trump.
On Tuesday, a New York judge temporarily blocked the publication of a publication written by the president’s niece, which was due to be presented by Simon & Schuster in July.
The decision made by Judge Hal B. Greenwald of the New York State Supreme Court is the first legitimate victory for Robert Trump, the president’s younger brother. He tried to block Mary Trump’s book, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the Most Dangerous Person in the World, claiming that she was violating a confidentiality agreement signed by all family members.
The lawyers of the author, however, want to achieve publication. “This book, which addresses issues of great public concern and importance regarding the incumbent president in an election year, should not be suppressed for even one day,” Mary Trump’s lawyers say.
