The first country to be visited by Joe Biden as U.S. president will be a country on another continent, writes the Mirror.
The publication notes that Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will meet at the Carbis Bay resort in Cornwall in June as part of the G7 summit.
The county of Cornwall estimates that the meeting will boost its economy by 50 million pounds.
Johnson described Carbis Bay as “the perfect place to hold such an important summit.”
He plans to ask the heads of the world’s most affluent countries – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the U.S. – as well as the EU for more international cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus.
