The Walther PP pistol used by Hollywood actor Sean Connery in the first James Bond film will go under the hammer.
The online auction will take place in Beverly Hills on December 3rd.
“In James Bond’s film debut, Connery has used this weapon throughout the film. It has helped portray the character exactly as he appears in books, films and other media for nearly six decades,” said Julien’s auctions.
Julien’s auctions executive director Martin Nolan said it was a great honor to present the legendary actor’s Walther PP pistol as the headliner of the auction.
“The silhouette of 007 holding this weapon has become the most iconic image in the James Bond franchise and one of the most recognizable,” Nolan said.
Bidding will start at $ 200,000.
