The shaman in the horned helmet who took part in the takeover of the Capitol lost 9 kg in prison

Jacob Chansley, who rose to fame as “Shaman QAnon” after the Capitol riot, considers eating organic foods part of his “shamanic belief system and lifestyle. Because of this, he lost nine pounds in prison.

On Wednesday, a judge ordered Corrections to provide organic food to an Arizona man accused of participating in the riot, and he appeared among the rioters waist-naked, painted, and wearing a fur hat with horns on his head.

The order was issued after the defendant’s lawyer, Jacob Chansley, who calls himself Jake Angeli, complained that his client had not eaten in the past nine days because the Washington prison where he is being held does not serve organic food.

Chanceley has lost nine pounds since he was transferred from Arizona to Washington last week, attorney Albert Watkins said. Three weeks ago, when he was incarcerated in Arizona on charges of rioting on Jan. 6, Chansley didn’t eat for days because they didn’t offer organic food in custody. The U.S. Marshals Service in Arizona said it had “developed an appropriate course of action regarding Jacob Chansley’s dietary needs,” but declined to say whether he was given organic food.

In asking for organic food behind bars, Chanceley made a religious freedom argument and said he had been on such a diet for eight years, practicing shamanism.
