Three high-rise buildings will be built in the Diamond Exchange area of Ramat Gan, consisting of 120, 88 and 77 floors respectively.
The first of them will be the tallest skyscraper in Israel.
The construction project was approved by the local planning committee back in April 2019, but a dispute between landowners dragged on, derailing the process.
Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama Hacohen believes the project will be completed in eight to 10 years.
“We understand that this is an unprecedented project on a national scale,” he said.
