The twenty-dollar bill was put up for auction for almost $70 thousand

The auction house Heritage Auctions put up for auction unique 20-dollar bill with a sticker from a banana.

We are talking about a $20 bill to which a Del Monte fruit vendor sticker was glued in the manufacturing process, and over it was printed with a serial number and the seal of the U.S. Treasury. Such a bill is unique because the sticker stands out not only in color, but also to the touch. The first found this banknote from the series in 1996 in 2003, a student from Ohio, who received it at an ATM.

The starting price for the rare bill is $57,500 ($69,000 including the auction house premium).
