The U.S. has proposed expanding the Abrahamic Accord

A group of 18 bipartisan senators, nine Republicans and nine Democrats, introduced a new bill Thursday aimed at expanding and strengthening the Abraham Accords.

The bill requires the State Department to develop a new strategy to “strengthen and expand the Abrahamic Accords and other related normalization agreements with Israel.”

If the Bill passes, the State Department would be required to provide “a detailed description of how the U.S. government will use diplomatic efforts and the resources of other stakeholders to promote normalization, economic development and people-to-people programming.”

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has already voiced support for the Bill.
